Full Speed Ahead for Vard Electro with Minerva Electronic PLM

Vard Electro is a world-class supplier of complete electrical systems for ships, including Control systems, Power systems, Bridge systems, and Communication systems. The Norwegian company was established in 1997 as a subsidiary of Vard Group, one of the major global designers and shipbuilders of specialized vessels.

Now, Vard Electro provides its products and installations to the ships, built by Vard, as well as delivering products and services to external customers.

In 2010, after building up an extensive product portfolio, Vard Electro started to feel the need for a Product Life Cycle Management/Product Data Management system.
